How to hide WIFI network name | D-link DSL-224?

How to Hide your WIFI Network Name and prevent it from being seen?

Before hiding it tries to change your wifi network name first. here you could find steps for how to change your dlink DSL 224 wireless network name or password.

Step 1: Login to your DSL-224 router.  

Open your browser ( Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, ...etc) and write in the address bar 

your router DSL-224 default IP address 10.0.0.2 Then press Enter.

A Pop-up screen asking for username and password, type admin in both fields and press enter.
If it didn't work maybe you changed the default admin password before So type your admin password and then press enter.

Step 2:  Hide your WIFI network.

 1- Click on Advanced, From left-hand side Advanced Wireless.
 2- Broadcast SSID > Select Disable
 3- Click on Apply Changes.

How to connect to your Wifi network name while it is not shown in your wireless network names?

From your laptop click on wireless icon at the right bottom of your screen and then click on Hidden network. then connect.

Enter your wireless network name (SSID) and password, then you will be connected to the network.
